Laois charities and families have benefited from the generosity of the Ballyfin Vintage and Veteran Club.
The club held their annual cabaret night at the Deadmans Inn, Ballyfin on Saturday, November 17.
The Ballyfin Senior Citizens Christmas Party, Ballyfin Parish, Ballyfin Community Alert, Midland Down Syndrome, The Ben & Jake Foundation and finally the Knowles Family were all presented with cheques on the night.
The club thanked all in the local community andbusinesses whoo have supported and encouraged the.
Club members pulled out all the stops earlier in 2018 when 52 participants with tractors, cars and motorcycles went on a vintage run from Ballyfin to Inishannon in Co Cork.
A cheque for €17,170 worth of funds raised was presented by the club's committee to Laois Hospice at Ballyfin's Deadman's Inn on August 10 when a great evening had by all.
The club wishes everyone a safe and enjoyable Christmas and members are looking forward to the Ballyfin Vintage & Veteran Club annual Table Quiz in the New Year.
