GALLERY: Here's all the Laois wild card entries for Junk Kouture 2018

Eleven fantastic Laois projects have made it through to the Eastern Regional Finals of the prestigious Junk Kouture competition.

A further 23 Laois projects are in the running against other schools in the East to be added to the final in a wild card selection and the voting is open.

The eleven Laois projects that have made it to the Eastern Regional Final come from six different schools across the county.

Scoil Chriost Ri in Portaloise has led the way this year with six creative entries making it through.

Mountmellick Community School, Heywood Community School, St. Fergal’s College in Rathdowney, Portlaoise College and Mountrath Community School all have one project each in the regional final.

While these projects have already made it through to the regional final, an online vote is taking place all this week for one wild card project to get through.

There are 23 Laois projects that could be chosen as the one wildcard to make it through to the regional final.

Leading the way on Wednesday with 745 votes was a project from Mountrath called Frida Colour.

The voting is done through the Junk Kouture app or by typing app.junkkouture.com into your Google search bar.
