A Laois school turned blue and white ahead of the Leinster GAA final against Dublin in Croke Park.

Ballyadams National School principal Tommy Fitzgerald, himself a former inter-county Laois GAA player, invited current Laois star Colm Begley and teacher Anna Walsh to raise the Active School Flag raising at Ballyadams NS.

Many of the pupils were Laois jerseys on the day as a show of support for the Laois team Gaelic Football team ahead of the big final at GAA HQ.

Photographer Alf Harvey went along for the Leinster Express to capture the event on camera.
