Republic of Ireland soccer legend Ray Houghton was in Portlaoise over the weekend to lend his support to a charity fundraiser in aid of the Cuisle Centre.
Houghton was welcomed to De Brúns at Hume's by the Laois Republic of Ireland Soccer Supporters Club, and he drew a large crowd to the venue, while also lending his support to the campaign to save Portlaoise hospital.
Our photographer Alf Harvey was there and got some great shots from the night.
