A safety issue has been identified with a popular IKEA product.

According to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the IKEA LETTAN mirror presents a risk of injury due to the incorrect material being used in the manufacturing of some wall fittings.

The fittings that attach the product to the wall can reportedly break, which can lead to the product falling from the wall.

If a person is in the vicinity when the mirror falls, they can be hit by the mirror, posing head injury, cuts and laceration hazards. placeholder image
