Portlaoise Parish Church is the venue for a big night of entertainment from Irish and Ukrainian performers which is set to raise vital funds
Taking place on Sunday, January 22 the concert is being organised by Sofiia Kravets and is aid of a Ukrainian charity called ‘Riy’.
"This charity provides much needed sleeping equipment for soldiers living in freezing conditions in Ukraine," says Pauline Flanagan who is helping to organise the event.
The music will consist of an array of different musicians including those from Ukraine and Ireland. Performers will include Heather Fogarty, Ciaran Campbell, Tom Conroy, Elaine Walsh, Louise Kavanagh and lots more talented singers and musicians.
The concert will commence at 3 pm and is expected to last no longer than an hour. The concert is free to attend although any donation for Ukraine will be welcome on the day. A raffle will also be held on the day.
