A famous British stage singer and actress is to perform in a Laois school's fundraising concert.
Rebecca Storm has performed in leading stage roles in musicals including as Eva Peron in Evita, Fantine in Les Miserables, Florence in Chess, Rose in Aspects of Love, Edith Piaf in Piaf, Joan of Arc in Jeanne and Miss Hannigan in Annie.
She is returning to Rathdowney in Laois where she brought the house down back in 2018 in a concert at St Fergal's College.
This time Ms Storm will play a concert in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, presented by St Fergal's College, on Friday, March 31 at 7.30pm.
The tickets priced at €25 are on sale in the school office during school hours from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.30pm.
They are also on sale in The Card Stand shop in Rathdowney which is open Monday to Friday 8.30am to 8pm, on Saturday from 9am to 8pm and Sunday 9am to 7pm.
Anyone who buys a ticket will also be entered into a draw for a door prize on the night where there will be a €100 Blue Book Voucher, €50 cash and €25 cash up for grabs.
