Emer was delighted to hear the crowds singing along to her renditions of some of the great Irish folk songs. Vicar Street is an iconic stage and music venue in Dublin where many of the greats including Bob Dylan, Planxty, Damien Rice, The High Kings, Christy Moore and many more have performed.

“It is a renowned venue and such a lovely opportunity for me to perform there for this energetic sell out show. I’ve had mighty craic both on and off stage during this tour and was so grateful to be a part of it. I’m really chuffed with the audience response and their warmth.

“It’s wonderful to hear people singing along and enjoying the songs and music and I loved meeting and chatting to people after the shows,” said Emer.

She will not be taking a break for long, as Emer was invited to continue with her own theatre shows. Among her work she is heading to Belmullet in Mayo for two days at the end of March for another lovely theatre show and they are also hosting workshops for local singers and musicians.

She’ll also be in Carrick-on-Suir in Tipperary as part of the Clancy Festival and Emer will be returning home with her energetic band for a performance on the Fleadh Stage at Forest Fest in Emo this July.

She's an act not to be missed - a great vocalist and entertainer.
