An exciting blend of contemporary art from emerging artists working and living locally in Laois features at the Abbeyleix Further Education Centre exhibition which has opened in Portlaoise.
Students of QQI level 5 and 6 courses have presented work in a variety of disciplines including ceramics, textiles, drawing, print and painting. The launch of the exhibition at the Dunamaise Arts Centre in Portlaoise on Friday, May 12 at 7pm and Denis Byrne was there for the Leinster Express / LAOIS Live to capture the event on camera.
