Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen is adapted for the stage by Laura Turner.Join Chapterhouse Theatre Company this summer as Elinor and Marianne Dashwood make their first forays into the exciting world of Regency society. This timeless classic from Jane Austen follows the sisters as they fall in love and experience heartbreak for the first time in their quest to strike a balance between sense and sensibility.

Established in 1999, Chapterhouse Theatre Company is a critically acclaimed touring theatre company. Specialising in open air Shakespeare, Classical literature, and family shows, Chapterhouse has recently embarked on a new venture of popular outdoor music concerts under the banner of 21st Century Events featuring, among other artists, tributes to ABBA, Queen, and Elton John. The company have performed at the UK and Ireland’s most stunning historic venues, working with the likes of The National Trust and English Heritage as well as many cathedrals and stately homes to bring classic stories to life into the perfect setting. The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde will feature on Sunday, July 9 at 7pm.
