The 'Moments in Life' exhibition will be on display at Bloom HQ until Friday, September 27.
Laois artist Billy Dollard has a new exhibition on display at the Gallery of Divine Inspiration at Bloom HQ in Mountrath.
The new exhibition is entitled 'Moments in Life' and will run up until Friday, September 27.
Billy paints at 'The Teapot Studio' in Kilcotton and is a well-known tutor with Laois Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB).
Speaking about his work Billy said: "I paint mostly with oil paints also watercolour, acrylics. My style could be defined as' realism' and can be 'expressionist'
"I have always greatly admired and been influenced by the old masters, particularly seventeenth century Dutch painter 'Jan Vermeer', also post expressionist painter Vincent VanGogh and Irish painters such as Sean Keating, William Leech, Paul Henry and John Lavery.
"I have been a tutor with LOETB for the last ten years or so for community education painting with lovely groups of people such as active retirement, men's sheds, refugee groups, Laois libraries and many private groups."
