The summer art exhibition entitled ‘towards a future floating’, opened at the Laois Arthouse, Stradbally on Friday, July 18.
The official opening was performed by Cathaoirleach Barry Walsh with remarks by Julie Bergin Director of Services for Finance, Libraries and Culture.
The exhibition comprises of paintings by Bernadette Kiely on the theme of climate change, Amelia Caulfield’s film and exhibits by participants at the annual summer adult art programme hosted by Bernadette and Amelia.

There was a wonderful turnout to view the art works on display. The exhibition is open until Saturday, August 30.
Gallery Opening times:
Tuesday - Friday 1pm - 4pm (entry through the Laois Arthouse)
Tuesday & Thursday 5.30pm - 8pm (entry through the library)
Saturday: 10am-1pm (entry through Library)
