"This whole journey has been absolutely amazing, I've met all 32 Roses on the tour and we are all getting along so well," Katelyn explained.
"They are an incredible bunch of girls, we have had so much fun doing all the different things on this tour."
The Rose praised her fellow Roses for their friendliness, and explained that she is currently sharing a room with the Philadelphia Rose.
"We are really all getting along so well, we all just clicked together," she said.
"I'm really excited to get up on stage and do the wider Laois community and my family proud, I'm honoured to represent them and my county. If I do perform, I'll either jive or perform a poem," Katelyn explained.
The Ballyouskill Rose explained that it's difficult for her to pick a highlight of the Rose tour, as she has loved every moment.
"It's very hard to pick as it has all been amazing, but I loved it when we made chocolate in Kenmare. I won for the best design," she laughed.
"The ball in Meath last Monday was incredible, we all had the chance to dress up and experience what the actual nights would feel like."
Katelyn has been in Tralee since last Thursday, and wished to thank everyone who has supported her so far.
"I want to give a special thanks to everyone in Ballyouskill and across Laois for their encouragement. There are around twelve or thirteen big signs across the county with my face on it, I can't believe it," she laughed.
"My family and I are down in Tralee at the moment, and there's a good Laois crowd here. I'd ask anyone who is coming down from Laois to make their way to Val O'Shea's pub, it's set up with flags and bunting ahead of the big night!" Katelyn said.
"This experience has been absolutely amazing," the Laois Rose finished.
Laois Rose Katelyn Cummins will be the fourth Rose to take to the stage on Tuesday night.
The Rose of Tralee will be available to watch on RTÉ One, and will stream for audiences at home and abroad on the RTÉ Player.
