A Laois local will bring his side-splitting comedy show across the country this autumn, for a night of laughter, poetry and song.
Retired farmer Mick Creagh has played a very visible part of the fabric of life in his native parish of Rathdowney/Errill.
Whether on stage in the beloved local pantomime, drumming in the well-known band The Winos, treading the boards in numerous plays and films, Mr Creagh has lead a very varied life! The Rathdowney/Errill man has even played a role in an RTÉ crime reconstruction in Crimecall.

Mr Creagh is delighted to invite Laois locals to join him along his three month tour of his one man show, 'C'mere 'til I tell ya a good one".
This 80 minute show comprises of yarns and 'good ones' from the mouths of many of the great characters that populated his parish, including Joe Gaffney, 'The Banjo' Grimes and 'Chum' Brophy.
This in not comedy that any Hollywood scriptwriter could write. The Rathdowney man will recite poems from his two self-penned books, along with singalong songs on his tumultuous love life!
The show will kick start in Edenderry on Sunday August 31, with more details on the writer's Facebook page.
