As Halloween draws closer, a luxury Laois hotel has treated guests to a spooky and artistic delight.
A Castle Durrow staff member has carved pumpkins for the Halloween season, and the pumpkins are truly something else!

Head Chef Graham Gallagher is a food carving expert, having given classes in Germany and Waterford Institute of Technology teaching his craft.
The head chef carved these pumpkins, much akin to works of art, wowing Laois locals alike.
Having seen the fantastic pumpkins carved last year, a wedding couple requested that they be carved and displayed, with Castle Durrow more than happy to oblige.

Castle Durrow is known for its stunning seasonal decor; in winter, the hotel appears as though it is straight from a Christmas film. Christmas trees and warm winter decor fills the halls, restaurant and wings of the 300 year old mansion.
Last year, the hotel featured on UK TV station More4's Country House Auction series.
