A Laois artist has released his latest solo single, having been a member of popular bands locally for years.

This latest track to hit Laois' music scene combines introspective and passionate lyrics with soulful indie rock.

'All This Love' by Portarlington man Alan Tierney, A.K.A. Bluster Bhoy, has influences of yearning vocals from Snow Patrol's Gary Lightbody, with a smooth and emotional buildup into a catchy rock crescendo.

The track was recently selected by Beta DaSilva on RTÉ 2FM as the Grassroots Track of the Week, which the Portarlington man hails as 'a huge honour and a wonderful boost' for the release.

Hear the song below:

"Over the years I have been writing, recording, and producing original music. I’ve also performed with a number of original bands Firstborn, Sidechain, Long Live Me, Chiral Labs, and Voodoo Labs, each helping to shape my sound and songwriting," Mr Tierney told the Leinster Express / Laois Live.

“All This Love” is the latest track from a recent run of recording sessions at Red Lake Studios in Portlaoise, following Tierney's earlier releases, “Lost & Found” (December 2024) and “Complicated Thing Called Love” (April 2025).

"This latest song is the most personal of the collection," the singer admits.

"The song blends soulful storytelling with playful imagery, reflecting on the idea that life’s achievements mean the most when shared with someone special," he explained.

The lyrics paint a picture of a man with everything he could want, while it is all meaningless without his family.

Bluster Bhoy has a sound similar to Caleb Followill of Kings of Leon, with the song proving to be a rich flowing love letter that is bound to get stuck in your head.
