Hanging up her princess heels following last week's amazing performance as Snow White, Laois Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins is ready to bring something new to viewers this week.

The ballroom will be going west on Sunday, January 25 with the return of Country Week in the latest episode of Dancing with the Stars on RTÉ.

It's somewhat familiar territory for the Portlaoise-based electrician as a trip to the Fossey Mountain Ranch in Timahoe was party of her journey to being crowned Laois Rose before being crowned the Rose of Tralee in the Kingdom for 2025.

Following last week’s elimination of singer Brian Kennedy and his pro dancer James Cutler, this week the remaining ten couples will each dance to country music anthems.

Sunday’s show will see performances to all types of country tunes, from Irish to international and classic to contemporary.

The Laois Rose, a self-proclaimed country gal, will channel her country roots this week. Katelyn, the bookies' favourite to win, and her pro dancer Leonardo Lini with a Quickstep to ‘Hit the Diff’ by Marty Mone.

Last week's performance saw Katelyn and Leonardo top the scoreboard for their third week in a row, maintaining a steady leadership through the competition.
