New shuttle buses from Dublin, Kildare and more for Laois music festival in Stradbally

New shuttle bus routes have been announced for a summer music festival in Laois.

Portlaoise coach business Martley's has recently announced shuttle services and to The Greenfields festival in Stradbally this summer.

The Greenfields festival was first established in Athy as a two day camping music festival in 2022, and has rapidly grown in size since.

The Leinster Express / Laois Live reported last October that the festival will now take place at Ballykilcavan Estate in Stradbally, home to the well known Ballykilcavan Farm and Brewery.

The festival has promised an exciting lineup, including Block Rockin' Beats, The Human League and more.

Shuttle services in Laois include Durrow, Abbeyleix and various stops around Portlaoise.

Martley's will also be providing services from Dublin, Naas, Newbridge, Kildare, Kilkenny and Carlow to the festival on Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3.

In Dublin, stops include Custom House, George's Quay Tara Street Railway Station and St John's Road, Heuston Station. Kildare stops include Naas post office, Newbridge Bord na Mona bus stop and Kildare Village.

There will also be drop of / pick up points at McDonagh Junction in Kilkenny, and Carlow Coach Park.

The pick up points vary from drop off points, and customers are advised to consult the timetable on Martley's website for more information. Pre-booking is encouraged to avoid disappointment. Online bookings close on Friday, May 1.

All tickets on the Portlaoise Route can be purchased on the bus on the day, as it is a Pay-As-You-Go service with no pre-purchase available.

Tickets from Dublin to Kildare are €50 return per person. From Kilkenny and Carlow, tickets are €40 return. From Durrow and Abbeyleix stops, tickets are €30 return per person.
