A Laois photographer has announced a reprint of a book dedicated to his home town that sold out like hotcakes last Christmas.
Professional photographer Kevin Byrne has printed a limited edition of part two of Mountmellick... a Community.
The book is packed with photographs of local characters and events, such as the above memory of the launch of the town's heritage trail back in 2004.
Last year Kevin's first edition sold out rapidly before Christmas.
"By popular demand, a limited second edition of my photographic book, 'Mountmellick... a Community' arrives in the shops this week. it will be available at O'Gormans, The Bookmark Portlaoise and News Express, Portlaoise," he said.
