Search is on for young music stars of Laois

Portlaoise Youth Cafe will be holding the local live selection event on March 1 for the Irish Youth Music Awards 2014.

Portlaoise Youth Cafe will be holding the local live selection event on March 1 for the Irish Youth Music Awards 2014.

Portlaoise Youth Cafe will be holding the local live selection event on March 1 for the Irish Youth Music Awards 2014.

The cafe is looking for local musical talent, the best to compete in Dublin for a professional recording album.

The event is starting at 6pm for ages 13-19 yrs. Entrance fee will be €5, bands are free.

Closing date for applications is February 24.
