There’s a chance to stretch those musical muscles with a new choir being set up in Durrow, with an open call to anyone with a tune in their head to come along and join this community event.
Do you enjoy singing, but don’t get much a chance to do so? Would you like to sing a huge variety of music, from The Beetles to Ballads, from Irish to Abba, from yesteryear to modern, and beyond, in beautiful harmonies?
The organising committee would like to invite one and all to a new community choir in Durrow.
The choir is open to all, from ages 19 to 90, who love to sing and have fun.
The first meeting was held on Tuesday October 4 in Durrow Library, situated in the old courthouse on Chapel St.
There's still a chance to get involved or show support for what will be a great way to make friends, express yourself musically, and get stuck into the local community.
Anyone interested in joining the choir should call Ann on 086 6045409, or call down to the library this Tuesday.
