Portlaoise band The Rising Sons release charity CD for PATH and Laois Dyslexia Support
A Portlaoise based band has released a new CD to raise funds for two local charities.
The Rising Sons band have recorded a song called These Hard Streets which features on the new CD.
All proceeds from the CD sales will go towards Portlaoise Action to Homelessness and Laois Dyslexia Support.
The band members will host a launch night for the CD on Sunday, February 25 from 7-9pm.
The launch will take place in Peig's bar in Portlaoise and a great night of music is promised all for a good cause.
Advance copies of the CD available from Anthem Music, Portlaoise and The Deadmans, Ballyfin fro €10.
Signed CD's will be available on the launch night.
