The Dunamaise Arts Centre recently announced their spring programme, and with a wonderful selection of theatre, music, film, dance, literature and visual art, the new season features events from January to April.
Some of the highlights to look forward to include many well known musical artists including Tommy Fleming (6 February), Johnny McEvoy (28 February), My Brother Joe-The Story of Joe Dolan (21 March) , Frankie Gavin and De Dannan(5 April) and DFF featuring Niwel Tsumbu, Vyvienne Long and Dave Flynn (11 April).
Music fans can also look forward to Magical Mozart by Candelight (9 February), the Irish Baroque Orchestra at St. Peter’s Church (1 March) and the Emilie Conway Quintet (19 April), as well as a special morning performance for children and families from the voice of Clannad, Moya Brennan with harpist Cormac de Barra (29 April).
Visual Arts will form a strong highlight in the new season and will include exhibitions by Gavin Hogg and Eoin MacLochlain. Visual Arts Ireland will also present a special workshop on Web and Social Media Strategies for Visual Artists (28 March).
