Stradbally is all set for fair and hounds

Stradbally Family Fair and National Hound Show is delighted to announce that the annual show will return to the wonderful environs of Stradbally Hall by kind permission of the Cosby Family, Stradbally on Sunday, July 6 next.

Stradbally Family Fair and National Hound Show is delighted to announce that the annual show will return to the wonderful environs of Stradbally Hall by kind permission of the Cosby Family, Stradbally on Sunday, July 6 next.

Traditionally the Hound Show has attracted large numbers and over the last few years it has been extended to include even more by offering a wide variety of exhibitions and entertainment. It is an equine and country pursuit showcase with Irish draughts, Connemara Ponies,

Pony Club Games, showjumping, Working Hunter, Hunt Chase and the national showing of foxhounds. This year for the first time the event will feature Hungarian Cavalry Riding & Horse Archery. Local culinary delights will be available to taste on the day provided by, amongst others The Stradbally Country Market. Trade stands will also attend showing the best of local enterprise.

The usual fairground attractions together with the novelty dog and agility show will provide a great day out for all the family.
