Laois businesses celebrating at the 2024 Irish Restaurant Awards .
It was a great night for Laois businesses at the Leinster regional finals of the 2024 Irish Restaurant Awards held last night.
Bramley Restaurant in Abbeyleix took home three awards at the event held in Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.
They received the award for the best newcomer in Laois while their staff members were also recognised. James Flannery took home the award for the best chef in Laois and Kasia Urban scooped the best restaurant manager award.

Employee excellence award - Dora Gabrysiak, Mueller and O'Connell Bakery
Pub of the year - Morrissey's
Best casual dining - Pantry Cafe and Walled Garden
Best Gastro pub - The Thatch Pub
Best contemporary Irish cuisine - The Hare's Corner
Best wine experience - Batoni's
Best customer service - O'Gorman's Bar and Restaurant
Best cafe - Bowe's Foodhall and Cafe
Best World Cuisine - Mayur Indian Restaurant
Best Sustainable Practices - Mueller and O'Connell Bakery
Innovator of the Year - Solas Eco Garden Centre, Portarlington
Local Food Hero award - Brendan Guinan of Fiorbhia Farm
The businesses will now go forward to the All-Ireland Irish Restaurant Awards in the Clayton Hotel Burlington Road, Dublin on May 20.
