Staff at Laois business gearing up for marathon cycle for Down Syndrome Centre

Portlaoise based business Powerpoint Engineering's fourth annual charity cycle will take place over four days this August. 


Conor McGarry, Johan Erasmus, David Phelan and Gavin Deering will cycle 543km from August 22 to 25 from Santander to Santiago de Compostela, Spain raising funds for Midlands Down Syndrome Centre CLG. 

"This incredible charity is Ireland’s first services-led centre for children with Down Syndrome aged 18 and under," said David Phelan on the fundraiser's Go Fund Me page.  CONTINUE READING BELOW PHOTO

"Since 2021 we have raised €92,875 thanks to your generosity. Last year our cycle raised €37,455 and helped provide essential family-oriented services to enhance the development of children with Down Syndrome. Every donation is very much appreciated with every cent raised going to the Down Syndrome Centre Midlands. Thank you - David, Johan, Conor & Gavin."
