Ivan Yates hosts the Path to Power podcast alongside Matt Cooper,
Political podcaster Ivan Yates is set to MC the Laois Chamber Alliance Business Awards when they take place in Killenard later this year.
The well known broadcaster, who hosts the Path to Power podcast alongside Matt Cooper, will keep guests entertained at the event in The Heritage Hotel on May 9.
The event is dedicated to celebrating the achievements, innovation, and resilience of local Laois businesses across various sectors, from startups to established enterprises.
Guests will witness firsthand the stories of perseverance, creativity, and success that are shaping our community. It is also a great opportunity for networking. This event brings together the movers and shakers of our local economy and will give you the chance to rub shoulders with top entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and key stakeholders who are driving growth and innovation in our region.
The awards categories include: outstanding SME of the Year Award; Large Business of the Year Award; Start Up/Emerging New Business Award; Business Supporting Community Award; Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Award; Excellence in Retail Award; Excellence in Innovation Award; Best Marketing and Communications Initiative Award; Excellence in Sustainability and Climate Action Award; Spirit of Laois Award; Laois Business of the Year Award; Laois Businessperson of the Year; and the Rising Star Award.
"Whether you’re a business owner, a professional, or someone who appreciates the hard work that goes into building a thriving business community, this is an event you won’t want to miss," said the organisers.
Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner, live entertainment, and a vibrant atmosphere with Ivan Yates, businessman and former Minister for Agriculture, sharing insights into his career.
