Laois-based firm signs off on major acquisition deal

The acquisition deal means the company will expand its customer base by around 12,000. 

Laois-based firm, True Financial Limited, have signed off on a major acquisition deal which will expand its customer base by around 12,000. The company, which is one of Ireland’s leading insurance brokers, trading as LowQuotes and True Wealth, has acquired Low.ie, a well-established Dublin-based insurance brokerage from JSBCA Limited.

The acquisition marks a significant milestone in the company's plans to expand their comprehensive financial solutions to individuals and businesses across Ireland. True Financial employs over 40 staff with revenues of around €6 million. The company is based at the Kea-Lew Business Park, Mountrath Road, Portlaoise. 

Shane Tobin, CEO of True Financial Limited, said: “We are delighted and excited about this acquisition, which is a perfect bolt-on to our expanding business” it will double our recurring revenues and will be a very accretive investment.”

“We are also inheriting a team of extremely professional staff with multi years’ experience in the life assurance online sector with Low.ie”.

Low.ie has been operating for 12 years in the online space and has around 12,000 customers and is the highest-ranked insurance broker on TrustPilot.
