The hardworking Supermac's team at The Portlaoise Plaza in Laois has reaped the rewards of their labours by winning one of the big prizes the Supermac's Annual Awards.

“All of our winners have worked very hard to get to a level where they win an award,” Pat McDonagh said. “There are 120 outlets so the competition is strong and to be the Supermac’s Outlet of the Year is something all our winners should be proud of,” he said in statement issued to the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
It's nearly a half century since Supermac’s opened its first outlet in Ballinasloe, Co Galway and a year later made its first venture outside of the county by opening an outlet on O’Connell St in Ennis.
