Two Laois businesses will be on display at the Local Enterprise Showcase's 2026 Showcase event in the RDS, which is described as "a pinnacle event in the global design and crafts calendar."
Over 100 companies from across Ireland will get the chance to connect with buyers from all over the world as part of the showcase which is running from Sunday, 18 January to Tuesday, 20 January.
The event will see thousands of national and international buyers descend on the RDS, generating millions of euros worth of sales orders during the show. The event is expected to be even bigger than last year's.
Angelina George Skincare and MyComfort from Laois will be among the craft and design businesses showcasing their brand at the event.
Angelina George Skincare is an award-winning Irish skincare brand created and manufactured in Portlaoise. The Laois-born business creates natural skincare products for sensitive and mature skin. Their products have won multiple national and international beauty awards.

The event is an initiative of the Local Enterprise Offices and is presented on behalf of Design & Crafts Council Ireland.

Ahead of the event, the acting Head of Enterprise, Dominic Reddin, said: "Showcase 2026 is a vital platform for our local businesses to connect with buyers, build brand visibility and compete on a global stage. The Local Enterprise Office is proud to support Angelina George Skincare and Catherine Hearns, MyComfort, at this event and enterprises across the county as they scale, innovate and succeed.”
This year all Local Enterprise Showcase clients were entered into the Business of Craft Awards. This is the third year of the awards that celebrate the businesses behind the amazing craft and design products that are created across the country.
The awards have three categories, including 'Best Newcomer' for the best craft and design business exhibiting for the first time, 'One to Watch' for the best business with export and international potential, and 'Sustainability Champion' for the brand which is excelling the most when it comes to sustainability.
The awards will take place on Monday, 19 January in the RDS as part of the overall event.
