New Spanish tapas restaurant opening in Portlaoise has strong Laois GAA connection
Former Laois and Portlaoise footballer Colm (Wooly) Parkinson's partner, Itxi, is opening a top class Spanish tapas restaurant in Portlaoise.
The presenter and producer of The GAA hour on Joe.ie took to Twitter to announce that La Lola Tapas restaurant will open on December 8.

The Spanish restaurant will be located on 37 Main Street, Portlaoise. This unit is between Ryan's pub and Permanent TSB with a big window looking out onto the street. The big window of the vacant unit has been decorated in the past.
The Leinster Express also revealed this morning that a leading coffee chain is planning to open a big café at Kyle Centre in Portlaoise.
