Control of Dogs Act 1986

As a result of the ongoing development of the Laois Dog Warden Service, we are recruiting for the following position:

KENNEL ASSISTANT 

(part-time 20 hours per week)

Candidates should have a broad knowledge of canine care 

Dog handling and animal welfare experience is essential

Good communication and organisational skills essential

Must be proactive, flexible and willing to work as part of a team

Administration and IT skills are required  

Educated to a satisfactory standard

Good standard of general fitness

Full clean driving licence required
