Discovering the right customers and clients for your business is the focus of a Laois Women in Business event in the Portlaoise Parish Centre on Monday, May 14 at 6.30pm

The guest speaker at the Laois Chamber event is Mairéad Kelly who is a business trainer and coach. She is the founder of Cute Honey which runs business training, coaching and mentoring programmes for ‘Mumpreneurs’ to help them “buzz their business into a hive of productivity and growth” while raising their children.

She will focus on some of the following areas:

* How to discover the right customers/clients for your business and profile them so as to avoid wasting time chasing the wrong type of clients

* Uncovering the reasons we still have unresolved excuses and how much they are costing us in business productivity

* Exposing where in our daily work life we waste time and ways to turn that time into productivity

* Working out which tasks we continually do that have an effective return on effort applied and which tasks require either up-skilling on or another person to do them.

The talk will be followed by informal networking where there will be a chance to showcase your products and services.
