Christmas parking.
Christmas shoppers in Laois will be able to get extra free parking over the next four weeks.
With effect from December 1, Laois County Council says there will be one hour free parking in Portlaoise, Portarlington Mountmellick for the month of December.
For Christmas week, only illegal parking will be ticketed.
