Laois Gardai arrested two drug drivers during an operation in the midlands.
The drivers were detected during an operation involving a number of agencies including the Road Safety Authority(RSA).
“Laois and Offaly Roads Policing Units were conducting Multi Agency checkpoints with the RSA in Tullamore today,” Gardai said.

“Several motoring offences were detected including two for drug driving. One for cocaine and one for cannabis. Both drivers were arrested and face court appearances,” Gardai stated.
