Portlaoise District Court
A man has been sent forward to the Central Criminal Court on a rape and sexual assault charges.
A book of evidence was served on the man, who is in his 30s, at a sitting of Portlaoise District Court.
He is accused of one count of rape and one count of sexual assault in Laois on a date in June 2020.
Judge Andrew Cody remanded the man on bail to the present sittings of the Central Criminal Court. He imposed reporting restrictions in the case.
