Laois Offaly Gardai are reminding people of the dangers of synthetic cannabinoids.
The timely warning follows reports of three children having been hospitalised due to so called cannabis edibles in Dublin in recent days.
Garda in Laois Offaly said synthetic cannabinoids are being sold as cannabis edibles.
They warned that while packets may be labelled THC-the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis- they may contain other man made substances.
