Red Bull to rashers Laois gardaí display big haul of suspected stolen groceries

Gardaí have put on public display a big haul of groceries which they suspect was stolen from shops by four people arrested in connected with the seizure.

The guards say four people were arrested on Sunday, February 27 in Portarlington with property which they say was stolen from a number of retailers.

The gardaí also say court appearances will follow the arrests.

The goods reclaimed were displayed on a large table of a local garda station. The products varied from detergents, energy drinks, canned food, fresh packed meat and other items. A small quantity of bed linen was also included in the haul.

Main of the items were branded products including, Redbull, Persil, Dairygold and Hellmans.
