Laois Gardai arrested a man after a bridge was badly damaged in the Slieve Blooms last night.
“Collision in Glendine overnight. Vehicle collided with a wall on a bridge and the wall is now gone.
Local traffic to be aware if travelling from Mountrath to Glendine,” Laois Offaly Gardai warned.
Gardai said a man was arrested at the scene and a file has been sent to the DPP in relation to the incident.
