A spate of house burglaries across Laois has taken place over a single day.
A car with false number plates is believed to be connected to three house break-ins in the county that all took place on Tuesday afternoon, March 28.
The houses are in The Heath, Ballybrittas and Ballylinan.
Laois Gardaí have described the car as a grey Volkswagon Golf with false plates.
An investigation is underway, with local community alert groups notified. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Gardaí.
