A driver has been arrested for dangerous driving in Laois.
Gardai said the motorist was caught speeding on the M7 Motorway in wet conditions.
“Laois Roads Policing conducting a speed check on M7 in wet weather conditions this morning detected this vehicle speeding at 1️77kph,” Gardai stated.
“The driver was arrested for dangerous driving and charged to appear at Portlaoise District Court,” they said.
