Drivers caught speeding
Gardai are continuing to target speeding in different parts of the county.
The Laois Roads Policing Unit carried out speed checks in Mountmellick earlier today.
They detected a number of speeding drivers including one motorists who was exceeding the speed limit by 40kph.
Gardai has issued fines to the offending motorists.
