Gardaí investigating
A Monasterevin resident foiled a potential burglary when she disturbed four men on her property.
The incident happened at a home outside the town at 3.15pm on May 3.
Gardaí said a woman arrived home from work and found a car in her driveway with a man inside. There were also two men outside the car and a fourth came from the back of the house.
The men fled the scene in a silver hatchback car. Nothing was taken but damage was caused to a rear door.
Gardaí say no arrests were made but inquiries are ongoing.
