Laois Offaly Gardai: An image of the tractor taken in Laois
Gardai are appealing for information in relation to the theft of a tractor in the Midlands.
The incident, the second tractor theft in the Midlands in a week, took place in Tullamore.
“Tullamore Garda are investigating the theft of a tractor overnight during which it was driven around Esker Island, Drom Liath and Arden Road last night the 16.05.2023 between 9pm and 11pm. It was subsequently abandoned,” Gardai said.
They appealed for anyone with information to contact Tullamore Garda Station on 057 932 7600.
Meanwhile, Gardai in Mountmellick are continuing to investigate the theft of a tractor and tanker which was also recovered. It was taken from a bog on Monday, May 15.
“Mountmellick Garda are investigating the theft of a blue 06 New Holland tractor and tanker. They were stolen from the bog at Kyletalesha between 10pm and midnight last night. Subsequently located at Ballytegan, Portlaoise,” Gardai said on Tuesday.
"Any sightings or dash cam footage please to Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4100,” they added.
