Laois Offaly Gardai police local rail network

Commuter pain sure to be the big issue in Portarlington and Kildare South

Portarlington Train Station is one of the busiest stations outide the cities

Laois Offaly Gardai continued their patrols on trains servicing the two counties.

They were joined by staff from Irish Rail carrying out patrols between Laois, Offaly and Westmeath earlier today.

Gardai and Irish Rail staff have been working closely in an effort to stamp out anti social and criminal behaviour on the rail network.
