Man admits drink driving in Portlaoise

A disqualification was handed down to a man who admitted drink driving in Portlaoise. 

Jason O’Shea, 25, with an address at 196 St Brigid’s Place, Portlaoise admitted drink driving at Old Knockmay Road, Portlaoise on April 10 last. 

Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby said the defendant gave a breath sample of 56 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath. He said the man has no previous convictions for drunk driving. 

Judge Andrew Cody fined the man €100 and disqualified him from driving for two years.
