Allegedly had stolen trailers in Laois

Court - Young Portlaoise man drunkenly abused gardaí

A book of evidence is being prepared in the case of two men accused of possessing stolen trailers.

Shaun Whelan, 26, and William Whelan, 51, both of Grand Canal Farm, Millhouse, Fisherstown, Ballybrittas are accused of possessing an Ifor Williams trailer valued at €4,500 and a Tuff Mac trailer worth €5,000 at their address on October 7, 2022.  

Garda Sergeant JJ Kirby requested a date in February for service of the book of evidence. 

Judge Andrew Cody adjourned the case to Portlaoise District Court on February 12 for service of the book of evidence.
