Laois Offaly Gardaí appeal after motorbike crashes near school

Gardaí say the motorbike had been driving dangerously prior to crashing

Laois Offaly gardaí have issued an appeal after a motorbike was driven dangerously near a primary school before crashing. 

Gardaí appealed for information in relation to the incident which occurred in Clara, Co Offaly on Tuesday, March 5. 

They said Clara gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to the incident which took place outside a school in  Kilcoursey, Clara between 2.50 and 3pm on Tuesday.  

Gardaí explained that the motorbike was “driving dangerously on Kilbeggan Road, Kilcoursey Clara outside boys and girls national school.”

“Motorbike was subsequently involved in a collision at the Square Clara at the church,” Gardaí explained. They said the rider fled the scene.
