Garda say a motorcyclist driving at almost double the motorway speed limit on the M7 in Laois.
The driver was arrested and the bike was seized earlier today.
“Laois Roads Policing Unit conducting a speed check on the M7 earlier today detected a Motorcycle travelling at 232KPH. The driver was stopped and arrested and their vehicle seized,” gardaí said.
The alleged speed is even more remarkable given the fact that Storm Kathleen had made landfall in Ireland today.
“Behaviour like this has no place on our roads,” gardaí stated.
