Gardaí arrested a man and seized a large amount of drugs and cigarettes during a search in Portlaoise at the weekend.
Gardaí attached the Laois Drugs Unit seized an estimated €20,000 worth of cannabis and a further €350 worth of tablets during a planned search of waste ground in Portlaoise on Sunday morning.
A 54-year-old man was arrested during the operation and later released without charge.
Gardaí said they also discovered around €1,250 worth of suspected counterfeit cigarettes during the search.
Portlaoise Gardaí said investigations are ongoing in relation to the seizure.
